The Easter Bunny didn't forget about us

It was a big time bummer to be two thousand miles away from home when Easter came around. There was no Easter hunt, no coloring eggs, no family games, and no baskets of candy. But the 'easter bunny' didn't forget about us. We got love packages in the mail that made my week! My Mom sent us easter treats that made Easter....Easter! And my oldest sister, Rebecca, sent me a little package for spring-for when that gets here. Can you believe that we're still getting snow? I can't wait until it stops. Some day it will stop. And when it does, I will be one really happy girl.

Thank you Mom! Thank you Rebecca! For not forgetting about me. We love you all and we miss you guys, we miss home. Some day we'll be back. Until then we send our love from small town Loretto in Pennsylvania.

Information Overload-

10 years ago:

I was a Sophomore at Highland High and I was transitioning between groups of friends-for the most part it was awkward. It was an emotional rollercoaster and I guess you could say that it was the year of my high school career that I was "finding myself". It was great though, Megan Daly and I would throw our rollerblades in the back of my Dad's truck every morning while he gave us a lift to school and we'd rollerblade home in less than five minutes. We'd "exercise" by rollerblading around the neighborhood and we'd also try to see how far we could get. We watched music videos on The Box and screamed our lungs out when we made a request and saw our number come up on the screen. We would played Double Solitare while we had cookies baking in the oven that we had dyed funky colors. I worked at KFC having my first "real" job. I came home smelling like chicken every night and yes, I still eat there and still love chicken.

5 years ago:
I had graduated from Snow College in little town Ephraim, UT with my associates but had to stay an extra month to make up a class-Biology. Two months later I packed my bags and moved to Maple Grove, Minnesota where I lived in the basement of the Gambrel family and became "the Nanny". It was the best experience of my life. The family, my friends, Minnesota, was all so wonderful. It is a time in my life that I will never forget and will stories of for as long as others will listen to them.

5 things that were on my 'to do' list for this week:
1-work on scrapbook
2-clean apartment
3-get the car washed
4-order pictures
5-go to the library

I enjoy:
Eating sugar
Talking with family and friends
Spending time with Travis-every minute counts these days so that includes the ten minutes in front of the mirror brushing our teeth and such at the end of the day.
Flowers
Going for walks
Taking pictures
The sunshine
Sleeping in the dark
Long socks
Fires
The beach
Tall glasses of kool-aid
Scrapbooking
Shopping-for anything but scrapbook and office supplies are two favorites
Rollerblading
Bike riding, hiking, camping, and all the outside sorts
Laughing and probably more so making other people laugh
And...oh yes, vacations!

What would I do if I suddenly became a MILLIONAIRE?:
Pay off our car and our not-quite-finished and still building student loans. Buy Travis the TV of his dreams. A house for us to live in for the rest of our lives and then I would hire Danielle' to decorate it for me. Travel. Finally get that dog that we've been wanting since we got married. And probably share a bunch with my cute family that I miss.

5 jobs that I have had:
1-Cashier
2-Waitress
3-Dishwasher
4-Breakfast cook
5-Tutor

5 things most people don't know about me:

1-I'm scared to death of newborns. I wish I could have a baby and keep him at the hospital or with someone else for at least three months because I often have nightmares that my babies head falls off! After I have my baby and the doctor puts my newborn in my arms and as I try to move him around his head fall off (I always dream that he's a boy). It's a reoccuring dream and feeling that I just can't shake.
2-If I had it my way and could afford to so I'd have fresh flowers in my house every day
3-What I really want to do is have a baby and get started with that chapter of my life
4-I wish that the term "listening ears" actually came with a switch on all of my kids in my class that I could flip on and when it was turned on they would actually listen!
5-I was born on an Easter morning at 3:48 on the snowiest day of the year. I was 7 lbs. 2 oz. and 20 1/2 inches long. I had long black hair, bright blue eyes, fat cheeks, a round nose, pointed chin, ten long skiny fingers, and ten toes....or so my mother tells me. :) Oh, and my middle name is Viola, after my Grandmother.

If I could tag anyone it would be Travis but since he's too busy I tag everybody else.
