Weekend in Seneca, PA

The weekend before last Travis moved to Seneca...only for five weeks though. There he is doing his Pediatric rotation and is really enjoying it. He has already helped with some deliveries and C-sections. I love hearing the stories! I'm hoping this rotation makes Travis as baby hungry as I am too. :D So anyway, while we were there we decided to take check out the neighboring towns and ended up in the middle of an Apple Festival so we decided to park and check it out. It reminded me more of a car show cuz there were streets after streets full of pretty sweet cars. This one was my favorite-

And these were Travis' (of course he had a whole bunch of favorites)-
It was a lot of fun walking around and checking everything out. We ended up seeing a bunch of tents for food and they smelled delicious! When we saw this sign though I had to take a picture cuz I didn't think people back west would believe us-
DEEP FRIED OREOS! No,we did not try them because honestly, they sound disgusting. Some people back here though say it's the only way to eat an Oreo.
The houses in this area were gorgeous! They looked very Victorian and had cool paint jobs and just looked like so much fun to live in so I couldn't help but take a picture of my favorite one-

Wouldn't it be so much fun to live in a house like this? I know I would love it. Oh, and one more picture, there was a huge fountain in the middle of the festival that just looked cool. Danielle', Travis thought of you when he saw this fountain, he thought you would really like it-

We had a great time being able to see yet another area here in Pennsylvania. Travis will be in Seneca for five weeks! Well I guess now four. I miss him already. It's hard having him so far away but he does come home for the weekends which gives me something to look forward to every day. This weekend we are going to be going to Gettysburg, we're excited for that. But until then, just four more days until he comes home! :D

Man, I don't envy you only getting your husband on the weekends, but at least it's not for TOO long. And that little red car at the top of the post is so cute, it reminds me of the dandelion car on the show "pushing daisies" (if you've never seen it, it's a very random show).
I miss you!
