All in a days work

As most of you know I am working as a preschool teacher at a day care here in town. At first it was something that I really struggled with but as time continued on I have adapted and things have been going a little more smoothly. During the better part of the day I get to work with preschool-aged kids and they are a lot of fun. They are all so different in their own way and I adore them all for different reasons. This little one lifted up her shirt revealing her belly and said to me "Camille, look, I have a fat belly like a moster."

This little boy absolutely loves animals and dinosaurs and we were acting them out and the other had to guess which one we were...the dinosaur guessing got interesting considering I only know like 5 dinosaurs. This little girl loves to pretend and she has quite the imaginary. She always has the kids pretending to be different roles, it's a lot of fun to watch.Don't be fooled by these two-"reading". These two really know how to cause contention but for some reason when it's time to read and look at books they are quiet and very content. So this is what I do every day, eight hours a day. Some days are really great and full of laughter and fun...other days I wonder why I bother and why I put up with having such a high stress job. The grass is always greener on the other side, right?
