Congratulations Maestro!

Saturday was a big day for Maestro. He graduated from his puppy class learning all sorts of new tricks.
He wasn't too happy with wearing this graduation hat but I couldn't help it but make him wear it so we could get a picture.

He's learned so much since we got him that every time someone comes over I show off his tricks cuz let's face it, they're amazing. So I decided to record him doing his tricks so that we could show off his tricks to everyone! Check them out, they're amazing. I think I'm so proud of them because not only has Maestro learned them and does them when asked (by other people too), but I taught them to him. I taught a dog these tricks, totally amazing. Anyway, check it out. We're very proud of him. Congratulations Maestro!

According to my scrapbook it's still 2008-

With getting two or so layouts done a day I am getting close to catching up my friends. Last week I finished up 2007 and hit the 2007/2008 New Year and I can't tell you how exciting this is to me!

I do not plan on being completely caught up by the time the baby gets here but I can't tell you how excited I am that I am now on 2008! A lot happened in 2008 for us-Trav did Basketball Intramurals, we have tons of nights of random pictures with friends from PA, the PA prom, the goodbye BBQ with PA friends, fun family home evenings nights with mini golf, a trip to New York, my family came out to visit, we went to Pittsburgh with friends, I have a ton of pictures from work, we moved back to UT, plus all the major holidays-Valentines Day, Easter, our birthdays, July 4th, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and then of course New Years. A lot happened for us in 2008 so I've got plenty of work to do, too much to scrapbook in probably only 4 weeks time. But we all know how much I'm going to try! Here's to scrapbooking all day!

prego belly captured--check

Thanks to awesome friend Tanelle Lindquist I got super cute maternity pictures done! They turned out great and I cannot wait to see the rest of them. If you'd like to take a look at the ones she's put on her website here's the link- http://www.lindquistphoto.com/index2.php#/home/ Go to 'galleries' and then 'maternity'. Be sure to also check out her other stuff too, her newborn pictures are adorable as well.
Thank you so much Tanelle! They look great! I can't wait to see the rest!

These are as big as your face!

Last week I made a batch of these delicious and ginormous cookies! They are so big the recipe said it would only make nine but I guess I did them even bigger than they should have because my recipe only made six! They turned out so good and were so fun to make that I doubled the batch to make more. Travis and I are very content in the sugar and peanut butter department.

Because these are infact so tasty I thought I'd share the recipe with those who are interested. Enjoy! This here is the top of just one cookie! :) Giant Peanut Butter Cookies
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup cream or crunchy peanut butter
1 egg
1//2 t. vanilla
1 1/4 cup flour
1/2 t. baking soda
1/4 t. salt
16 Reese's peanut butter cups miniatures, cut into fourths-I put mine in the fridge for a little while before I started cutting so that the peanut butter wasn't too soft- otherwise it was so soft that all the peanut butter squooshed out.
1. Heat oven to 350
2. Beat butter, sugar, and peanut butter in a medium bowl until creamy. Add egg and vanilla; beat well. Stir together flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to butter mixture; blend well. Drop dough by lelvel 1/4 cup measurements onto ungreased cookie sheets, three cookies per sheet (cookies will spread while baking). Push about seven pieces of peanut butter cups into each cookie, flattening cookie slightly.
3. Baking 15-17 minutes or until light golden brown around edges. Centers will be pale and slightly soft. Cook 1 minute on cookie sheet. Remove to wire rack; cook completely. Makes 9 cookies.

We're getting ready-

So I'm lookin around the apartment last week and notice that I still had Fourth of July stuff up. Of course it was only like two/three things but it still bothered me considering that fall is around the corner. So what on earth do you decorate your house with in August? Summer is over but fall is not quite here yet. So I got creative and decided to decorate like this- (this picture turned out a bit smaller than I thought it would but the smaller pictures are pictures of the baby's ultrasounds)

and this-

I love looking at these pictures! They make me smile and make my heart feel all warm and fuzzy. I still can not believe that in about six weeks (give or take) Travis and I are going to be parents! We are ready for this. We have been waiting and we are ready and we cannot wait!! So now when we sit on the couch we just sit and stare at these beautiful pictures and dream about what he's going to look like...what it's going to feel like...you know, all that good stuff. We can't wait!!
We are starting to get things ready for our little one and so for those of you that haven't sent us your address yet or know that I don't have it-I need it! I want to send out announcements to all of those who want to get a glimpse of our soon-to-be so I need your addresses! So send me your address! Either leave your address on a comment or email it to me at my first and last name at gmail.com (no spaces, no caps, no underscores). Thank you so much for all of your support! We love you all- Travis, Camille, and Baby Dimond

did you know?

Did you know that dogs lose their teeth just like we do? It's true, check this out-

Over probably a month ago Maestro's front teeth on the top and bottom of his mouth had fallen out and already grown back in. I haven't seen any of those teeth because they were so tiny! I figure they're either lost in our shaggy carpet somewhere or he swallowed them. But recently his back teeth have been falling out and we have found those! I first noticed when I was playing with a toy with him and there was blood on his toy from his gums bleeding. Then one night we noticed him acting like this-

It was so weird. At first I thought he was trying to eat something that was stuck in his mouth, like a hair or a piece of grass. But there was nothing in there. Then I looked at his gums and noticed a tooth was lose. We left him to getting it out himself and then we suddenly heard a popping sound and then his tooth came out. Another came out when I was brushing his teeth. And on one tooth I actually helped fall out when I went to touch it to see how loose it was. I had no idea that dogs lost their teeth like we did. Pretty crazy.

Well the time is getting a bit closer for us-7 weeks left and Travis and I are so excited!! Here's a baby bump picture for you-

I feel huge but I know that I'm smaller than the average pregnant woman I'm sure. At times I feel like my belly is not quite big enough for the baby. He constantly on the move and loves to curl up on the left side and tries to find as much room a possible. We really cannot wait to meet him!
