these two-

What more can I say? These two just crack me up. I love them both-a lot! Here are some other pictures that I've captured recently-I think he's getting a bit big and too strong for the Bumbo...so sad. Can you believe he's in the 73rd precentile for weight and 85th for height? Okay, yeah, I can too. He's getting so big. I love it. Oh, and he's also rolling around like a pro. My attempt of getting a picture of me and CasonI love that they're friends!
Ever since Cason was born he curls the end of the lips down into a frown and I just love it. I've been trying to a get a good picture of it since day one and this is the best one, so cute!

on display

Every month I read a scrapbook magazine that has an article of the fancy-schmancy scrapbook rooms that I just dream of. A lot of them though have a space in their room where they can display their most recent or most favorite layouts. I feel like I put a lot of work into my pages that I feel like don't get looked at enough. So I have always wanted to do the same thing, display my layouts. So this weekend I decided to do just that. It was easy-peasy. With ribbon, thumb tacks, thread, and the advanced paper clip (I have no idea what they're called), I made it happen. So I pulled out my two most favorite layouts I've done recently for Cason's scrapbook and put them up. I love looking at them. And now others can see them too. Love it.

And I love these! Thank you Travis, :)

It has been so beautiful recently and Cason, Maestro, and I have been loving it!Thanks to the spring-like weather we've been able to go out for walks every day for over a week. It's been a great workout for Maestro's leg (which he uses a lot more now), and gets me and Cason out of the apartment.Yeah for sunny days!

Poor Maestro

A lot of weeks ago I noticed Maestro was limping on his back leg. We kept an eye on it but it seemed to be getting worse. Travis was afraid he would need x-rays so I called all the vets in the yellow pages to find the cheapest rate. I found a great little old man who seems to work with animals just for the joy of it, aka-he doesn't charge much. So we went to him and the first xray you couldn't really see much. He gave us some pain medications and two weeks. Two weeks later Maestro was mostly sleeping all day, having a hard time getting up, and had no energy. So we got another x-ray and turns out he had fractured his hip! Poor thing. So the next day I took him in for surgery. And for two weeks he did nothing but lay around and sleep.

Yesterday he got his stitches taken out and seems to be doing much better now. He still sleeps a lot but has more energy and puts his leg down every now and then. I can't wait till the weather gets warmer so I can start taking him out on walks again, I have missed them.

in just a week

It's only been a week since my last post and I just uploaded a good 100 pictures of our cutie....how on earth I think I'm ever going to catch up on Cason's scrapbook is completely beyond me. But I could at least keep up with the blog. :) So in the past week this is what's been going on-
He's growing like a weed! He's got the cutest chubby cheeks and double chin around! I weighed him at 16 lbs. last week, he's a whole lotta heavy for me.I couldnt figured out how to get this photo t show up right but it's too funny to pass on, so either a-tilt your screen, or b-your head to check out these thunder thighs. My favorite thing about all his chub is that this is just the beginning! :)If you think we're singing in this one, you're right. Cason is cooing like crazy! His lasted sound was "sha", I was pretty excited considering the 'sh' sound was perfect! We've been dog sitting for our friend, Charlee. She's not too sure how she feels about Cason but Cason seems to enjoy her company.

I love watching him attempt to play with toys. If he can manage it he stick them in his mouth and then the drool never stops, I love it!
And if he can't manage to get the toy in his mouth then he settles for his fingers, which produces much more drool.
My parents came over for dinner and everyone had a really great time.
He tries to sit up on his own all of the time. He needs a lot of assistance but it sure is cute to watch him try.
Loving bath time-doesn't he just look so cute wet??
For some reason whenever he's in the Bumbo he ends up turning himself to the side and looks over. I have no idea why he does this or what he's looking at but it sure is fun to watch.

And I saved my favorite for last, in hopes to not jinx it but Cason has slept through the night the past two nights in a row! Hazah! I can't tell you how excited I am about it! I'm hoping the pattern continues so keep your fingers crossed!
