Camping trip #1

Yep that's right, we went camping more than once this summer. Infact after this camping trip we got home, unpacked, washed everything, and then packed everything back up again for another adventure. But for this post we'll stick with the first trip-Lava Hot Springs with my family. So much fun! The kids did, awesome! Cason loved his sleeping bag or aka-"little bed". And thanks to it being so warm no one even came close to freezing-
The KOA camp ground had a playground and sandbox and that's where Cason and his cousin spent most of their time-
Here they're catching bugs with Papa. Which mostly meant Papa was running around trying to catch bugs that the boys would just release after they got their hands on it and the boys running around swinging their nets at each other. It was a lot of fun to watch :)
Swimming! Yes, we went swimming. Seriously, best camp ground here. Cason had so much fun with Travis playing in the water-
Myra got in the water a couple times but didn't love it as much as I was hoping she would. But she enjoyed being in the sun-
While everyone stayed in the water Cason decided to take a nap with his towels as blankets and pillows. Here's how he started out. So cute!-
My sister helped me get this awesome shot of Myra! Miss Myra just loves to play and being held up in the air-
Every evening we went out for a walk into town to get ice cream cones and every night Trav carried Myra for me-
We'd watch the people going down the river on their tubes as we went over the bridge (love that Cason's on his tippy toes in this shot and that my Dad has a bottle of water shoved in back pocket)-
One night Cason opted out of ice cream and wanted ths humungous sucker instead (and no, he hasn't finished it yet)-
Myra hanging out after her breakfast-
The boys spent a lot of time collecting rocks in their buckets and then throwing them into the river, they had so much fun doing this-
 Collecting rocks-
Papa caught a couple of grasshoppers for Cason and put them in this little bug thing for him. Cason would show it to all of us and stare at it for about 30 seconds and then let it go so Papa could put in a new one-
Trying so hard to wait patiently while we took everything down and packed it all up-
I highly recommend Lava as a camping spot. We had so much fun and there was tons to do that worked out great for our young kids (no big hikes or anything). Thanks again family! Can't wait for next year!
