Our girly girl-

I've always wanted to get my little girl's ears pierced so when I had Myra I knew it was something I wanted to do. After talking to the pediatrician we finally had a chance to get it done. I unforutnately don't have shots of her ears getting pierced right now (hopefully soon) so I thought I'd share pictures of how adorable she looks with them done-
Adorable right? They're kinda tough to see since they are so small. They're just little round pearls that Travis ended up picking out for her. I thought they were perfect! She really was so good when she got them done too, just one loud cry for each ear and then she was totally fine.
And there haven't been any problems since either. I mean seriously! So cute!
Here's one other shot I had of her playing in a towel. It was so big for her that it would get wrapped around her arms and then the towel would fall over her face and she'd wig out. But I guess that's what happens when you grow out of stuff and have to move onto the next big thing-
Love you baby girl!

Camille,

Was searching for my GF’s blog and came across yours. Loved your pictures of your little girl's ears pierced. This was a perfect age to do when mommmy can care for them and she'll just grow up with them thinking they are part of her. She is totally adorable with those studs in her ears. I think you were a super smart mommy wanting it done early.

She'll thank you later for the “gift of pierced ears” as an infant! Our ped also encouraged to do it when mommy could care for them. I think babies and little girls with pierced ears are adorable. It celebrates their femininity and femaleness. Like you, I kept seeing babies and little girls with earrings and how
cute they were with little gold studs in their ears poking through their hair.

Our ped gave me some suggestions for moms having their infant dd’s ears pierced as well as for “Tips for moms having their dd’s ears pierced/Care of Newly Pierced Ears.”

If any other moms thinking about it and want to do it now or would like them, write me an e-mail.
