I thought these pictures were just fun to share so I put them up...and it took me forever to take pictures of this little guy...or girl that weren't fuzzy so I had to show them to somebody!

So we have a new friend at our place, a lady bug! We're not sure whether to call it a him or her so we usually just mix it up every now and again. As you can see from the pictures he's/she's been spending some time in our kitchen recently but for the past month or so I'm pretty sure we've seen him/her in every room of the house. He's/She's good company to have around. Just when you think no one is around to talk to he/she walks by the counter and reminds you that you're not alone. :) This is Trav checkin' out where he/she is. And he/she was there for quite some time, couple days I think...must have been cozy.

Ten random reasons I love Travis:

1-He'll sit on the couch with me when we watch a movie instead of sitting in his chair.

2-He lets me be lazy when I have no energy to get my own drink.

3-He still holds my hand.

4-He doesn't turn down my music when it's "too loud".

5-He'll surprise me by doing the dishes or putting the dishes away for me.

6-He gives me massages.

7-He plays with my hair.

8-He listens to my endless rambling of who knows what.

9-He holds me tight and kisses me like he means it.

10-He lets me goes out with his friends with school even though he hasn't seen me all day.

A Very Merry Un-Birthday to You!

So sometimes (more likely most of the time) when working with 12+ two-year olds you have to entertain them some how and the more you sound and look like an idiot the better you are at entertaining them. Right now my kids are really into singing the "Happy Birthday" song, even if it's not your birthday. So the other day I decided to teach them the "Very Merry Un-Birthday" song and they loved it! I sang it with a goofy voice and a goofy dance and little Kadyn was practically rolling on the ground cuz she was laughing so much. It was so cute! When she caught a breath she looked at me and said, "you're funny Camille". Need I say more? I love my job!

Meet Kadyn.



That's right a girl Kadyn who spells her name with no 'e'! I can't tell you how long it took me to remember to spell this girls name and even now I stop after I get to 'Ka' and think about if the 'd' or the 'y' comes next. But this girl isn't as confusing as her name, all she wants is her mom and dad (very simple to understand). She went into her usual room (the kids are organized by age) for a couple weeks but I guess it just wasn't working out so I've had the opportunity to have her my class and she's adorable. She has the cutest giggle, fun singing voice, and can make my heart melt in a minute! For example, last Friday as we were singing a song together she stopped right in the middle and said, 'Camille, you're pretty today.' It was so adorable and totally made my day!

You know you're a scrapbooker when...you can't see your floor.

Just because we don't have any room in our little apartment doesn't mean that I can't scrapbook, it just makes it more inconvient for me. I have to get everything out, decide what I'm doing, make some creative, and then when I'm finished I have to put it all away again. But you know, I'm okay with it. Here are some before and after shots for you to check out. As you can see, I make quite a mess when I scrapbook. I try to only take a couple things that I think I need but by the end of it all I realize that I've gotten out just about everything that I have. Oh well. I love taking pictures and love even more gazing at them. I could look at the pictures I've taken for hours! So I really enjoy being able to scrapbook them. And then after each layout I start at the beginning of my scrapbook and look at all of my pages again, I love it. This is pretty much an every Saturday type of thing for me too...at least that's the plan. :)
